Pixel is a great smart watch!! It works seamlessly with my Pixel phone. And the Fitbit integration is perfect. My only complaint is that watch face is softer than I would like – it seems to scratch more easily than my apple watch did. Best of all – the free Fitbit app is excellent – I hated the apple fitness app software. Free Fitbit works on you phone you watch and your PC…. I hated the apple fitness app!!

I’ve had my Google pixle watch for about a week now, and I’ll share my first impressions. I’m sixty-three years old and this technology is something I’ve been waiting for, for over fifty years. I’ll come back in a month and share my experience with it then.

Final opinion:

I’ve gone back and forth between Apple and Android, and I’ve always thought that the best thing about iPhones was the Apple Watch. I’ve always been disappointed that Android users didn’t have a really good smart watch option. The battery is not ideal, but I can get by with charging once a day. It will charge ~30% quickly but it takes over an hour for a full charge. If you want to get your Dexcom readings on your watch, take some aspirin first, and then search Reddit for your options.In the photo of my watchface, the Dexcom reading is the middle circle, and I also have the option to open more detailed info.Dexcom refreshes every 5 minutes, so if the timestamp is more than 5 minutes old you may want to check your phone for your most current reading.
